Tori is a Southern Illinois native and attended the University of Illinois, where she received her bachelor’s in Animal Sciences with a Pre-Veterinary Concentration, and a minor in Leadership Studies. She grew up on a small farm and has had numerous years of live production and farming experience from childhood through college.
Throughout her college years, she gained valuable experiences that lead her to the poultry industry. Those unique experiences include: working at the St. Louis Zoo, working on the U of I Poultry Research Farm, and working on the American Farm School Poultry Farm in Greece. Prior to working at BVS, Tori worked in the Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Department at the National Turkey Federation.
