Active Microbial for Poultry: Knock Out Pathogenic Bacteria for Improved Gut Health

CLOSTAT^® contains a unique, patented spore-forming strain of Bacillus subtilis, PB6 which was isolated from chickens who had survived a high exposure to Clostridium perfringens in the environment. PB6 attacks and kills clostridia and other pathogenic bacteria which can negatively impact the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Because PB6 is a spore forming bacteria, it is compatible with most other ingredients and is able to survive harsh conditions, such as the acidity of the stomach or the temperatures associated with pelleting.
